Education

• Higher, in 1989 graduated from Ternopil State Medical University with a degree in “Medical Care”, did internship in specialty “Urology”. PhD in Medicine since 1996.

• Defended thesis on 23 April, 1996 on the topic of “Magnetic Laser Therapy in Preventive Treatment of Pyo-inflammatory Diseases after Prostate Adenomectomy” in Specialized Academic Council at the Institute of Urology and Nephrology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, diploma number KN # 010308.

• 2014 – present – associate professor of the Department of L.Ya. Kovalchuk Department of Surgery No.1, Urology, Minimally Invasive Surgery and Neurosurgery;

Research interests and experience

• Treatment of purulent-inflammatory diseases of the lower urinary tract and patients with erectile dysfunction.

• Study and development of effective surgical methods of treatment of patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia

Proffesional activity, fellowships and memberships

• Author of 162 works, co-author of Atlas of Surgery and Procedures, textbook “Clinical Anatomy of Urogenital Organs”, “Emergency Urology in the Practice of Surgical Doctors” and CD-ROM “Urology” Author of 19 utility patents and 6 efficiency proposals.

• 23 years of teaching experience in higher education institutions of III-IV accreditation levels, 23 years of teaching experience in I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University. 30 years of practical experience.

• Member of Ukrainian Association of Urology and Oncourology, Board Certified Physician.

• Since 2002 – Fellow of European Association of Urology (EAU), and since 2015 – European Society for Sexual Medicine (ESSM).
